If, as a young man, you engrossed yourself in adventure novels and you are no stranger to the novel of A. Grin “Scarlet Sails”, if deep in your heart you are a real romantic and your dream wedding should have a historical scenario, then the old Venetian Galleon is perfect for you! The Galleon is the most advanced type of sailing vessel that emerged in the 16th century and was in service with the French, Spaniards and Italians. It is 40 m long and 16 m wide. In modern Venice, there are two historical galleons “in service”, the exact external copies equipped with everything you need for the celebration. Each galleon can accommodate 146 people in summer time on an open deck. We can organize a celebration buffet. In this case several tables are laid for guests on the open deck. There are 84 seats available in case you’d like to have a catering banquet. If there are many guests, both galleons can be rented and they will sail side by side and in some areas of the Lagoon they will be connected with a ladder so that the guests can move from one galleon to the other. At the end of the banquet, the tables are cleared from the main deck, so all the guests can move to one galleon which will become a dance floor! Just imagine: fresh sea breeze gently blows your hair, wind fans the sails, and you and your second half and guests are celebrating your wedding in Venice, and the most romantic city is the decorations for your feast! On board of the Galleon, we can arrange a classic ceremony in medieval decorations, a costume ball or even a pirate party! It all depends on the flight of your imagination. We can organize your day, evening, or night travel. As possible scenarios, you can have a symbolic ceremony with the Doge of Venice, a ship captain or a mayor! The Galleon will pass San Marco square along the famous islands of the Venetian Lagoon: Murano, Burano and Torcello, and you will feel the historical atmosphere surrounding you and your guests! You can be assured that your wedding in Venice on the historical Galleon will be remembered for the rest of your life!
