The monumental building has a strict neoclassic style. Its façade is highlighted by the Corinthian columns and portico rising above the majestic marble staircase. The interior of the Barbieri Palace amazingly combines rigour and magnificence. In the Aracci room, survived until the present day, an ancient biblical fresco and a picture of Paolo Farinati of the 16th century can be seen. The City Council Hall has an enormous painting made by Felice Brusasorzi.
